Frequently asked questions

A few answers before you enquire.

01Do I need to provide a property as collateral?
Not for every home improvement loan. Depending on the amount and financing model, a standard instalment loan or a solution secured by a land-register charge may be appropriate.
02Will the enquiry affect my SCHUFA record?
The type of bank enquiry must be clarified in advance. A quotation request (Konditionsanfrage) and a credit application enquiry (Kreditanfrage) can affect SCHUFA differently.
03Which documents are required?
Income documents, bank statements and information about the project are typically required; the bank may request additional documents.
